Welcome to Bugs and Beetles Nursery School
Bugs and Beetles nursery school is an English-medium, private school catering for children from 1 to 5 years (Gr00). We are situated behind Greenstone, in Illiondale, on the corner of McNaughton and Karen Road on a large 1800m2 stand.
Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment in which our children can grow to reach their full potential.
Bugs and Beetles nursery school was started by Liezel Andersson, a qualified educational psychologist and teacher, who has many years experience in teaching, counselling and assessing children.

Bugs and Beetles nursery school was started by Liezel Andersson, a qualified educational psychologist and teacher, who has many years experience in teaching, counselling and assessing children.
Our classes are small with a qualified teacher and a teaching assistant for every class. This is to ensure that every child is given quality care and attention. Our teachers are fully qualified and all staff are First Aid/CPR certified.
Play is the foundation of our programme from which children venture forth to investigate and learn. Our playgrounds (indoor and outdoor) have been designed with the help of an occupational therapist to promote optimal physical activity and to ensure that all the major muscle groups are targeted. We follow a structured curriculum with weekly themes. Our curriculum is based on the belief that children learn through active and engaging sensory experiences.
